Using Oral Hyaluronic Acid in Horses


Oral forms of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) are used by many of our clients. Two veterinarians from our practice, Drs. Pierce and Bramlage, completed a study on the use of oral HA for post-operative tarsal effusion in yearling Thoroughbreds. This paper was published by the Equine Veterinary Journal in 2006.
